But I drove my dad’s Thunderbird to our annual Thanksgiving dinner at my sister’ s house. It was a gamble, I hadn’t driven it more than about 10 miles from my house, so there was no guarantee we’d make it there and back. But I had no w here to be the next day day, so if I was going to be up late waiting on AAA, Th ursday was the day to do it.
Happy to report s he made the 90 mile round trip with no hiccups.

You just brought a little joy into the world, not just for yourself, but for everyone who saw you. It always makes my day when I spot a classic on the road.

One of my old est memories of this car was when I was a couple years older than my son. My sister wanted to be driven away from her wedding in it. On the way there, t he throttle stuck wide open when my dad was passing someone on the highway. Was scary at the time, but I’ll never forget it. Lol
